Frequently asked questions
Consultations are ordinarily arranged within a few days. Residential work is typically booked one to two weeks ahead. Spring and autumn are our busiest periods, so please book early if you require a specific date. Site work is scheduled around your handover, so please provide that date at the outset.
Because a price given over the telephone is an estimate, and estimates are renegotiated later. Twenty minutes at the property produces a figure that holds. The visit costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.
On commercial and site work this is ordinary practice rather than an exception, and it does not attract a surcharge on a recurring contract. Residential work is carried out during the day unless you request otherwise.
The price we provide is the price you pay. The sole exception arises where the work proves materially different from what was described, in which case we stop and contact you before proceeding.
Electronic transfer, credit card and cheque. Residential payment falls due on completion of the work, and we never request a deposit. Commercial work is invoiced according to your agreed terms.
